We cross paths with some rather wonderful people. One such person is Nancy Beal. She has been such a good friend to the turtles and helped Think Turtle distribute Watch 4 Turtles signs and car magnets in the Muskoka region over the past few years. During that time, we learned that Nancy was writing a book. Recently, Nancy was in touch to let us know her literary vision is complete and hot off the press.
Think Turtle is thrilled to share news of Nancy Beal’s book, The Endurable Alex Tilley. The book will be launched in Toronto on April 4th and Muskoka on April 13th. See the poster for more details.

Tilley Hat To The Rescue
Drawing from a treasure trove of turtle stories and photos we have stashed away, we were able to put Nancy in touch with a Think Turtle volunteer with a wee Tilley turtle hat story. Who says a hat is just for a head? Turtle hatchlings do show up when we don’t expect them, and thanks to Anne Marie and her Tilley hat, these hatchlings were safely escorted to the nearest body of water and got a helping hand to begin their new life in the wild.
